1968 AMX - Completed!

This is a 1968 AMX for an Austin client. This vehicle will be media blasted down to the metal. Defects in the old metal will be cut out with the plasma cutter and replaced with new metal. The remaining metal will be prepped, primered and painted to original paint coded color.

When we give quotes on what a car will cost to be restored and the following clause is present: "If it is discovered during the process that further work is discovered during the tear down and more sandblasting is required than anticipated, there may be added costs." Here is your answer, sand blasting to the metal reveals the cars entire history to the soul.

1969 Chevy Camaro 489 RS/SS
This car belongs to Troy Day, our head builder. This is a 489 based on a production 454 block, a Scat cast crank and I-beam rods, and SRP 10.5:1 pistons. Troy opted for a Crane 246/254-at-0.050 hydraulic flat-tappet cam, and matched it up with an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, a Holley Dominator carb, and a set of second-hand ported rectangle-port iron heads. The body & interior has completely being restored.
1972 Chevy Nova

1972 Chevy Nova
This car belongs to the wife of Troy Day, our builder. She had one in High School and loved it. She knew someone who was selling it and went out, bought it and brought it home for Troy to restore. This build is currently in progress. The body is almost completed and the engine is a 350 cubic inch motor which has been all performance enhanced. The entire dash area is completely being restored.

1968 Chevy Camaro

1968 Chevy Camaro
This 1968 Chevy Camero RS/SS (Black) was a matching numbers car. A nurse in Austin found it in an advertisement in New Jersey. The car, at the time, belonged to the son of a former New Jersey Governor. We purchased it and transported back to Austin where it was fully restored. It had the factory 327 cubic inch motor, factory AC, electric windows, 4 piston dis brakes and hounds tooth interior. It was fully restored to original factory condition keeping the majority of original parts for the matching numbers car.

This car was purchased out of a newspaper by a client who brought it to us to be restored to his liking. Details of this build include: blue/white custom paint (was red/white when acquired), suede interior, 496 engine built to 550 horse power, Ford 9 inch Moser rear end and four wheel disc brakes.

1970 Chevelle

1970 Chevelle 454 SS
This 1970 Chevelle 454 was purchased 75% restored. The exterior paint and the interior upholstery were completely restored. This car was in dire need of a new dash and all of the gauges from top to bottom. The motor had some repairs done, the carburetor was upgraded to a Holley 750 Double Pumper and a Vintage Air Conditioning unit was installed. The entire suspension system was also fully restored replacing the old one with Poly Graphite.
